Connecting to the VPN via Forticlient

                The FortiClient app can be launched in two ways :

Make sure you are connected to your home internet.

  1. From your desktop shortcut

  1. From the quick launch bar

 

 


 

 

 

  • Once FortiClient launches –
    1. Click on the “Remote Access” Tab on left hand side navigation bar to gain access to VPN logon screen
    2. You will need to select the VPN Name ‘Connexis – SSLVPN’ , if not already showing. User name is mariec not full email address.

         To connect:

  1. Enter in your usual Connexis Username and Password in the appropriate fields
  2. Click “Connect”

 

 

If connected successfully, the app will shrink to the task bar and you will see the following message on the bottom right of the screen.


When you have completed your work, you can disconnect using one of the following methods –

 

  1. From the quick launch bar, right-click on the FortiClient icon, select “Disconnect …”

  1. Alternatively, you can maximise the FortiClient App again and click disconnect
