If a trainee does not want to receive a text, there are 2 places where this can be indicated


On the Contact

If the trainee has elected to opt out of all communications, then on the on the contact change SMS (under the contact methods) to Do Not allow

Training Programme

If an individually enrolment is to be excluded from the texting, for example where its just for a certificate request or a version change then on the training programme the “Don’t Text” can be ticked

Note only NZC, NZA, NZD programmes which are TEC funded will receive the welcome text

There could be a variety of reasons why we don’t want to text and there will be more than the 2 examples above
